A Writing Workshop is an immersive experience in which a small group of students come together weekly to share works-in-progress. Students will receive in-depth, written feedback from both the instructors and fellow students.
This class is perfect for:
Beginners who are ready to dive into a short story, novel or memoir project and need a group to help them develop their idea and hold them accountable for progress
Intermediate and Advanced students who have a work-in-progress and are looking for feedback as they revise
Anyone who wants to develop their skills as an editor and learn practical ways to revise their writing
In each class, three students will share their work, and we will discuss for thirty minutes each. We will dedicate the remaining half hour to craft talks, generative writing exercises, writing prompts and discussion of mentor texts.
